  • Wireless Rage
    Wireless Rage

The client, Wireless Rage, wanted a logo that played off the runaway popularity of a certain ubiquitous smartphone, but differentiated enough to make it clear that they were offering a range of products and were not limited to a single brand or model. Further, they wanted to aim directly at the youth market.
  • EcoMowers
    EcoMowers

Ecomowers, whose primary product is push reel mowers, needed to quickly convey their environmental business model, but in a charming way. Since it's a major step for most people to switch from a power mower to a manual one, accessibility and friendliness were critical concerns.
  • Alpaca Boutique
    Alpaca Boutique

With Alpaca Boutique's logo, we were hoping to do a bit of speedy informal education for any potential customers who had no idea what an alpaca was. With the stylized (and unmistakable) silhouette and the knit-sweater color palette, we not only explained the product's origin, but hinted at the product itself.
  • Brown's Trading
    Brown's Trading

For Brown's Trading Company, the goal was to reflect their focus on southwestern style jewelry (and specifically, turquoise) without defaulting to the more obvious design language of the region, which can so often be too cutesy or seem dated. The result is clear, simple, appropriate and elegant.
  • Loft 816
    Loft 816

With a youthful target demographic, Loft 816 wanted to immediately communicate a profound lack of stuffiness and a disdain for convention. The skewed resulting design not only achieves that goal, but also implies the shape a warehouse, lending the brand the impression of the physical space of a brick and mortar store.
  • Black Hairspray
    Black Hairspray

The client requested a logo as literal as their name, with an illustration of a can of hairspray somehow incorporated into the design. Our solution reduced the can to a sliver, serving primarily as a delivery vehicle for the decorative swash, doing double duty as a graphic interpretation of aerosol spray and the letter "B".
  • Angel Handbags
    Angel Handbags

With multiple design goals, including femininity, playfulness and sophistication, Angel Handbag's logo called for a solution whose simplicity wouldn't pull it too far in any single direction. The final design achieves that simplicity and also provides a trademark that could easily serve as a logo independent of the written name.
  • Global Hemp
    Global Hemp

The client wanted to immediately speak to its core audience without alienating those who were unfamiliar with the use of hemp in legitimate, legal, consumer products. The hemp leaf accomplished goal number one and the clean, almost elegant text accomplished goal number two. The end result is both earthy and classy.
  • Model Train Stuff
    Model Train Stuff

Reminiscent of vintage hotel luggage labels, the Model Train Stuff logo taps into the nostalgia that feeds most model railroaders. Even before reading the copy, the color choice, fonts and illustration speak directly to the target audience. By the time they read the text, they're already sold.
  • Style Q
    Style Q

Style Q specializes in outfits assembled by celebrity stylists and was interested in an understated logo that wouldn't be easily attached to a single, particular style or look, but rather convey an overall sense of fashion awareness. The resulting design underplays the name's inherent pun and instead leaves the casual viewer with a single word: style.
  • TVI Supply
    TVI Supply

Because TVI Supply carries such a broad range of products, the goal in this case was to create a recognizable symbol that didn’t speak to any single category and could be used as a repeating design element throughout the site. The multicolor result makes visual reference to the wide selection of products and hints at the speedy distribution thereof.
  • Window America
    Window America

The visual pun in this piece came naturally, as the client was very passionate about both windows and (not surprisingly) America. The flag blowing in the breeze, with the window standing in for the blue star field, is an incredibly quick read. There is absolutely no question about what business these folks are in, but despite the logo's straightforward clarity, it's clever enough to stick in the viewer’s head.
  • Greek Premium
    Greek Premium

In this case, the client wanted a logo that would graphically reference the coat-of-arms style symbols that represent most older universities, but since they are aiming for a youthful market, they wanted it so be softened and modernized. They wanted it to be fun. The final design has enough visual cues to point back to its historical source material, but the off-kilter type puts it squarely in the realm of the youth market.
  • Paws4Claws
    Paws4Claws

In this case the client had multiple goals. They wanted to clearly express that they were neither cat nor dog-centric. They wanted to indicate the social networking nature of the site and they wanted to make it absolutely clear that they were an eCommerce site (as well as an information resource). Add to that their desire to hint at their charitable efforts and we arrived at this utterly charming result.
  • eUndies
    eUndies

With their focus on fun underwear (as opposed to the boring or overtly-sexy types) eUndies wanted their logo to be girly and playful but not too refined. The informally constructed border, framing (and connecting to) the casual script within makes for an adorable, self-contained visual description of the site's overall personality and also has the look of an established garment brand.
  • WOW Projects
    WOW Projects

Wow Projects is a philanthropic organization serving Blaine County, Idaho. Because they're all about striving together as a community for the betterment of everyone, they wanted their logo to reflect that. The pair of figures, one slightly smaller than the other, quickly conveys that spirit as they both not only reach for the stars, but joyfully leap at them.
